Kindle Oasis Update 2024. The new firmware version is 5.16.7 , and it's available to download from the kindle software updates page at amazon if you want to manually install the update now, but there's really no compelling Exactly one month ago to the day, amazon released a software update for kindles that introduced a lot of bugs and random problems, but now there’s a new software update available that hopefully fixes most of those issues.

You can read more about it here but it looks like there will be a 6in and 10in model. There was one other update, which came in 2017.
